Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Since she was a teenager, she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap, and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she received a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with many artists and producers like Cory Henry and James Blake. The album came out in 2022 as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first female to receive both awards.
