Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. The majority of her early years listening to music from the past, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs along with old classical pieces. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. As a student and when she was a professional young in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in traditional Latin American music at private events. She is involved with many local initiatives, both as a teacher and performer, because of her love for music and arts. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
